Ouganda “Gorilla Tracking” par Albi

Merci à Albi qui nous fait le plaisir de partager via son blog “www.pictures-by-albi.com”  les images de la quête du Gorille des Montagnes lors du dernier voyage photo en Ouganda. Enjoy !!!

It seems to be easy to track the gorilla in ouganda; just buy a ticket and join a group…… but: flying to Addis, 700 km on the road, 2700 m about sea level, and than up and down in a deep forest, no light, only green and nothing to help, to stand….somebody falled on me by climbing down, snakes and all kind of things, but you don’t care at this moment you just need to go on walking, go on climbing one of my most difficult trip to make pictures…but at the end :

The last picture shows my friend who helped me climbing: (he carried also the camera of a friend).. but this picture was taken with my d4s + 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6g, 1/1000 s f/6.3 iso 20 000 !! (twenty thousand iso) all pictures with the nikon df or my new d4s, also on the track: the 80-400mm; the 70-200 was too short….many thanks to my best friend from ouganda who helps me to carry my backpack !!!….and helps me to climb up and down… i will never forget thanks for your visit and see you soon with more pictures from ouganda…
